Route 100 Road Widening

Keystone Consulting Engineers, Inc. (KCE) was contracted by Upper Macungie Township in Lehigh County to manage this major, multi-million dollar capacity building project to alleviate severe traffic congestion on Rt. 100, a state highway. KCE oversaw the planning, design, and construction of this project. KCE was responsible for the extensive and complex coordination required between the municipality, PennDOT, a railroad company, and over twenty commercial businesses and land owners. Overall the project entailed widening the roadway, reconstruction of a high-volume railroad crossing, and reconstruction of several major intersections. KCE obtained all the required PennDOT and PA-DEP permits to complete the project.
