KCE was proud to assist our municipal client, Moore Township, Northampton County in completing a bridge project.
Our team performed surveying, construction stake-out, permitting, developed plans and specification and contract documents, inspection and contract administration.
The Moore Township bridge was a replacement of a double corrugated steel pipe culvert that had failed in a severe flooding event, resulting in the road closure of Kern Rd. KCE chose a 19’-10” span by 36’ long Contech aluminum arch bridge for the replacement. This bridge is adjacent to a residential backyard and the bridge was a perfect fit for the location and aesthetically pleasing in the setting.
The Township will be well served by this new structure for a very long time, with little or no maintenance, and keeping the Township roads open and fully functioning.
