As the Site Engineers of Record for St. Luke’s University Health Network’s Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township, KCE prepared the Land Development plans and secured all required governmental approvals for the most recent expansion project on the Campus. This project consisted of a 175,000 square-foot Women’s and Babies Hospital Expansion that provides 98 new beds for patient care. As part of this project, KCE designed the main drop-off and pick-up areas for the Emergency Department and main entrances, as well as additional site parking and access driveways with their associated storm sewer improvements. This project also required the design of a sewage lift station and the design of a new heliport on the site which involved extensive coordination with the PennDOT Bureau of Aviation and the Federal Aviation Administration.
KCE has been the engineer of record since the beginning of the development at St. Lukes University Health Network’s Anderson Campus. In addition to the original Hospital, KCE was also a part of the Specialty Pavilion on the campus.
